Educational opportunities for children and Youth
Sunday School Classes begin at 9:15 am each Sunday.

Children age 4 through fifth grade will participate in a series of workshops.

Workshop Cycles is an innovative way to experience Sunday School that takes seriously the spiritual development of children while providing exciting activities to engage a new level of learning and retention. “Rotation model” means that children work on the same story or concept for several weeks, using different learning approaches in each workshop room they visit.

Middle School and High School students will meet separately on Sunday morning and are invited to participate in the EYC program on Sunday evenings 5:00pm until 7:00pm.  EYC events are on the church calendar and Diocesan Youth Events are also listed on the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina website. Individual registration forms for these events are also on the website.

Church Nursery

Grace Church's Nursery is available for infants and toddlers up through age four. It is a caring, nurturing environment where your child can experience God's love. It provides parents the opportunity to worship and attend adult education forums and classes knowing that their young children are in a safe and nurturing place. Experienced caregivers and parent volunteers serve in the nursery. The nursery is open on Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. No reservations are required for Sunday mornings.

Children in Worship
""
Children are central to the life and vitality of our parish. We all share responsibility for nurturing their faith and honoring their spiritual gifts. It is our hope that children will actively participate in the worship life at Grace as partners in the faith of Jesus Christ.
We provide children's bulletins and crayons in the Bell Tower vestibule for younger parishioners. We encourage families with children to position themselves within the best view of the altar and to allow little ones to stand on the pew, if need be. Please feel free to answer children's questions during the service rather than quiet them. Infants and children four years and younger may visit the nursery.
